The new CD! the thing that came from somewhere After several years of digging each other’s music, touring together in Canada, the US & Europe, and becoming great friends, Don Ross & Andy McKee have decided to join forces for a new duo recording for CandyRat Records: “the thing that came from somewhere.” The new platter includes duet versions of five familiar tunes composed by each guitarist, two duet arrangements of compositions by Russell Ferrante and Mike Marshall, and two solo tracks by each of Don and Andy for a total of 11 great performances. Produced and recorded by Don at his Goby Fish Digital Aquarium in Cannington, Ontario, Canada, plans include release on CD, all the digital distribution outlets, and, yes, even collectible colored vinyl (available later in the year). The CD version will be available just in time for Don & Andy’s January tour together which starts in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 7, 2008 and wends its way through Washington State, Oregon, California and Nevada.
